A tour of my cupola

One of the best features of my new apartment is the cupola — a cozy, bright space that sits on top of the house and looks out onto the neighborhood.

Outside my apartment door, another winding set of stairs leads to the top of the 112-year-old house. The last two steps feel spongy, so step lightly.

I’m planning to use it as an art/meditation/reading/escape hatch.
