What amazes me most — in addition to the equal voting rights battle of the 1860s — is how different the marriage amendment is. In 2012, we’re voting on an amendment that would amend the state constitution to strip away human rights (rights that, by law, are already withheld). o_O
I’d also like to mention that my team at MinnPost is really incredible. They pulled this together in less than 12 hours. Good things are happening!
